Milestones are not required, but they are useful ways of tracking a significant change in the life-cycle of a lead. Milestones are used to track lead progress in certain reports.  You can create as many or as few milestones as you need for your organization's process (e.g. "quote sent", "verbal approval", "signed").

a. To Create Milestones, click on the 'Milestones' tab at the top of the workflow screen.

b. Select 'Add A New Milestone'.

c. Each milestone must have a name, an icon and a color.
