I. Dialing a Contact 

   
    Note - If you are in the Campaign Dialer and have selected normal dialing, you will need to click the green "call contact" button at the top of the page.


A. Call Actions

    Once you are in a call, the 'virtual phone' on the left of the screen will display several action buttons below the dial pad.  

    1. End

         Clicking the 'End' button will disconnect the call.

    2. Mute

        'Mute' will mute your mic, so no other parties in the call can hear you.

    3. Transfer

        'Transfer' will allow you to transfer a call either to another XenLeads user or to an outside phone number.
       

         a. Transfer to another XenLeads user

            When you click the 'Transfer' button under your virtual phone, it will open the transfer dialogue box to the 'Transfer to User' tab. Begin typing the name or username of the user to

            which you wish to transfer the call. Once the desired user's name appears click on their name, then click on the yellow 'Send' button at the bottom of the dialogue box. 

         b. Transfer to a phone number

            Click the 'Phone Number' tab at the top of the transfer dialogue and input the 10 digit phone number to which you would like to transfer the call, then click on the yellow
            'Send' button at the bottom of the dialogue box. 

    4. Conference

        'Conference' will allow you to conference in another XenLeads user or an outside phone number

        

         a. Conference to another XenLeads user or user group

            When you click the 'Conference' button under your virtual phone, it will open the conference dialogue box to the 'Conference with User' tab. Begin typing the name, username or

            group to which you wish to send the call. Once the desired user or group name appears click on the name, then click on the yellow 'Send' button at the bottom of the dialogue box. 

         b. Conference to a phone number

            Click the 'Phone Number' tab at the top of the conference dialogue and input the 10 digit phone number to which you would like to send the call, then click on the yellow
            'Send' button at the bottom of the dialogue box. 







B. Quick Links    

        

   1. Create Disposition

        This button can be handy if you receive an inbound call between dialing out OR if you are calling a contact that belongs to more than one campaign. Clicking 'Create Disposition' will bring up at dialogue box that allows you to search for a contact and then displays links with all of the campaigns to which the contact belongs.

    a. select a contact
     To search a contact begin typing the name, address, phone number, or Record Id, then click on the name of the desired contact when it appears.
    b.  select the desired campaign
    After you select a contact, links to the campaigns to which the contact is a part, will appear. Click on the link for the desired campaign and this will open up the contact in the desired campaign, so you can disposition the call as part of that campaign.


2. Search Contact 

        This feature is useful if you receive an inbound call between dialing out.

        a. Launch Search inline or in a new window
            i. You can either open a contact search in a new window (by clicking the words 'Search Contact' 

            ii. or you may open the contact search in a new window (by clicking the parenthetical words (new window).

        b. View search results
            A search of all contacts that have the phone number calling in (or number that is calling you) will launch and you can select the appropriate contact to view.


3. Add Contact 

        This feature is useful if you receive an inbound call between dialing out.

        a. Launch Add Contact Page inline or in a new window
            i. You can either open add Contact in a new window (by clicking the words 'Search Contact' 

            ii. or you may open add Contact in a new window (by clicking the parenthetical words (new window).

        b. Input New Contact Details
            When the 'add new contact' page launches you can input any information you gather from the caller to create a new contact. 


C. Editing a Contact

    If, during the call, the contact alerts the dialer to any incorrect information about his/her business, the dialer can click the green "Edit Contact" button to make any necessary corrections. Just make sure you click the 'save' button once you are done editing contact information.
